You need a partner who gets it - not just an agency that shows up
Cover Paige Creative is a boutique house of experiential artisans, led by founder Cara Paige… twenty years of creative and operational expertise, one lean team, zero generic execution.
Our story
Cover Paige Creative started with a simple belief: events shouldn't just happen to people — they should move them.
Cara Paige founded CPC in 2014, bringing a career that had already taken her from the fashion and textile world into trade show floors, communications, and brand strategy. Long before "experiential marketing" was an industry buzzword, Cara was building tactile, story-driven moments — first for national campaigns and a White House program launch during her time at Warriors 4 Wireless, later directing a $2M-budget national conference for 4,000+ attendees as Director of Events for the American Montessori Society. By the time CPC was ready to grow beyond its earliest projects, Cara had already learned what most agencies never fully absorb: an event isn't a deliverable; it's a relationship, and the details people remember are usually the ones nobody told you to worry about.
That instinct — thoroughness as an act of care, not just process — is still how CPC works today. It shows up in the twenty vendors we'll vet down to six, the site walks we schedule before anyone asks us to, and the discovery conversation we insist on having before we ever talk logistics.

How We Think About Events
Done well doesn't equal flashy — it equals meaningful, impressionable, "give me more." It's the event that gives onlookers FOMO and makes them copy the style, the swag, the aesthetic. It's creativity and thoughtfulness at work in the smallest details, from the invite to the debrief, and always asking how to make it better next round. It's also a balancing act — keeping people entertained and comfortable while providing calm moments of pause and reflection.
Our Process
Discovery, first — always. Before a single logistic gets planned, we get to know your brand on an intentional, intimate level: what matters to you, what success looks like in your own words, what ROI and KPIs actually mean for your organization.
Then, relentless follow-through. On one recent 50th-anniversary celebration, that meant vetting 20 food truck vendors down to 6, conducting 5 site walks, and running weekly planning calls with set deliverables — the unglamorous work that keeps load-in day, and everything after it, from going sideways.
And when things go wrong — because sometimes they do. We've had a festival shut down by weather and a conference disrupted by a pandemic. In both cases, the client relationship held, because they'd been partnered with us from day one. We delivered a clear blueprint for the work to resume, even when the live event couldn't happen as planned. That's not luck. That's what discovery and communication are actually for.
Meet Our Chief Creative, Cara Paige
Before CPC, Cara built a career across fashion and textile merchandising, trade show production, and communications. As PR & Marketing Director at Warriors 4 Wireless, she grew program engagement by 613% and helped plan a successful program launch at the White House, working alongside the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the FCC. As Director of Events for the American Montessori Society, she led the world's largest Montessori gathering — a $2M+ budget, 4,000+ attendees, 16,000 members — and steered the organization's conference team through the onset of COVID-19.
That range — fashion's eye for aesthetics, trade shows' operational discipline, communications' strategic instinct — is the actual foundation CPC draws on for every client, regardless of size.
Outside of client work, Cara is intermediate in American Sign Language, mentors through the CPC Mentoring & Internship Program, and stays involved with the Boys and Girls Club of America, the Baltimore Association of Black Journalists, and the American Heart Association. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Towson University and a Fashion Design & Textile Merchandising certificate from Carroll Career & Technology Center.
A note on our team: CPC is intentionally lean — Cara leads every engagement personally, working with a trusted network of vendors, freelancers, and city-based collaborators as each project requires. When you work with CPC, you work directly with the person actually building your event.
In Their Words
“Cover Paige Creative kept our 2024 convening on time and on task, which resulted in a wonderful national meeting of like-minded not-for-profit sector professionals... We really appreciated their expertise and personal touch — we will definitely work with them at the next opportunity, and we recommend them very highly!”
— Aria Camaione-Lind, Principal + CEO, Aria Strategies LLC (former Alliance Board Chair)“Before Cara and her team, we were operating without an intentional marketing strategy. Thanks to Cover Paige Creative, Blogalicious was not only able to host successful pop-up marketing events in Baltimore, New York, and Miami, but we were also able to feature the Mayor of Baltimore as a keynote speaker at our 7th Annual Blogalicious Weekend conference.”
— Stacey Ferguson, Co-Founder & Chief Curator, Blogalicious“Cara of Cover Paige Creative is amazing! The professional and creative energy she poured into our 100-Year Celebration was incredible... I wholeheartedly recommend Cover Paige Creative to anyone planning an event of any size.”
